Macklemore and his wife, Tricia Davis, have welcomed baby number three. Davis shared the news on Instagram Tuesday (September 14), six weeks after their son, Hugo, had been born.

"Six weeks ago in the shadow of the Buck Moon this beautiful human came into our lives," Davis said in the Instagram caption. "He arrived rooted and calm, mostly just observing the two whirling dervishes around him... Welcome home Hugo. May you crush the distorted masculine and awaken the divine."

Davis first shared that she and her husband were expecting their third child last April, when she shared her baby bump to her Instagram Story. Hugo joins their two daughters, Colette Koala, 3, and Sloane Ava Simone, 6. Macklemore commented a red heart on Davis' Instagram post, but has not yet shared any photos of his own.

Macklemore commended Davis' parenting in a Mother's Day Instagram post back in 2020. "All these years, I knew that you'd be the best mother," Macklemore said. "I had no idea that you would absolutely exceed all expectations once that time came 5 years ago. I love who you are. I love your boundless creativity and limitless imagination with our children [...] To say our kids adore you would be a massive understatement. You are their world, as you are mine. We're all so fortunate to have you in our lives."

The "Thrift Shop" rapper has previously shared that his daughters have budding artistic talents of their own. "My house sometimes feels like a ballet studio," he said during a 2019 interview. He also revealed that his older daughter has been a great big sister to his younger daughter, with Sloane making an excellent role model.
